This is an important element of us and our business model that we strive for in our daily business interactions.
My Parents, Eldred & Jo Ann Lewis started “Lewis Inc. Heating Cooling & Appliances” on south Broadway in Jan. of 1965 with the idea of superior service and products that met the needs of their customers. In 1968 they moved from S. Broadway (Collisions Specialists building) to their current location at 622 Topeka street in Larned.
I started in the business when I was 12 by running tools and “helping” when I could. After attending K-State I returned to the business in 1977 and started taking on more responsibility for service and management. I accomplished that by adopting an attitude of continual learning and training to meet the changing environment of comfort, reliability and service you deserve when you put your faith in us.
A Note From Steven:
In 2008, after working in the business for 35 years, I acquired the company from my parents and changed the name to Comfort Systems Inc.. I chose this name to reflect the focus of providing our customers and partners a “comfortable” relationship of Trust and Service as we work together to meet their current and future needs. This is best shown in our Motto “ We Are Not Comfortable Until You Are”
