Comfort Systems Goes Above & Beyond
September 2020
Customer Problem: System was older and failing with a cracked heat exchanger.
Repairs to the 20-year-old unit were 1/2 the cost of new equipment and the customer did not have the funds or access to financing to purchase a new unit. Comfort Systems referred the customer to the Kansas Weatherization program, and they qualified for a New unit as well as other work that will Upgrade the insulation and Lower costs to heat and cool at NO COST to the customer!
Hear what the happy customer had to say:
“… inspectors from SCKEDD assessed our house and advised us that we qualified for the federal weatherization program. Their contractor will replace our heat and air unit at no cost to us, as well as complete other weatherization improvements.
We appreciate so much that you referred this opportunity to us as it appeared, we would be unable to either secure financing or pay for any debt we incurred to replace the unit.
Thank you for the service you and your workers have given us in the past. We do appreciate having a reputable, reliable, and professional business close by that we can depend on for good service.”

Steven Lewis and his crew at Comfort Systems Inc. of Larned has been keeping families comfortable in their homes since 1965. It struck us that we could help with the quality of air in the Humane Society. Air quality can be a huge issue for an operation like the Pawnee County Humane Society and even in your home. That is why Comfort Systems Inc has donated two Air Scrubbers Plus Air Cleaners to the Pawnee County Humane Society. Air Scrubber Plus is a revolutionary new air cleaning system that will help eliminate indoor air quality odors and risks by sanitizing surfaces to reduce the spread of disease and helping eliminate air pollutants such as dust, pollen, mold, pet dander, and odor-causing bacteria
Several months ago Steven & Deborah visited the Pawnee County Humane Society looking for a new member of the family. We met Niko, a 5 yr. old poodle/terrier mix, that had resided at the shelter for over 4 months. His outgoing, fun nature was what drew us together and the rest is history. While talking to Celest Dixon, now the Humane Society President, we discovered that they were having odor and health issues with all the animals living close together. Well, we can’t adopt every animal that the Humane Society gets, but Deborah & I wanted to help in some capacity.
If you would like to know more about the Air Scrubber Plus and how your home can smell fresh every day, call 6220-285-3947 today or visit www.mycomfortnow.com for a special offer. We will be giving a donation to the Humane Society for every Air Scrubber sold through the adoption of a pet from Pawnee County Humane Society. It’s a win/win. The animals and staff are breathing healthier and you can experience it in your home, too. Please visit the Pawnee County Humane Society and see first hand the great work they are doing and maybe find your ‘Niko” as well.

This is Steven Lewis with Comfort Systems in Larned. If you are upgrading your thermostat to a Connected, digital or programmable, remember to recycle your old thermostat. Mercury is very damaging to you, your family and the environment. We are the only recycling center for mercury thermostats in central KS. Check it out and bring in your old thermostats ( even if you didn’t buy one from us we can help!)
Thermostats that contain mercury have levers or dials that you must physically move to change the temperature. If you remove the faceplate of your thermostat and see one or more glass capsules containing a silver substance, it is a mercury
thermostat. Do not remove or break the capsules. If your thermostat is digital / programmable, it does not need to be dropped off; it can go in the trash.
Call us at 620-285-3947 if you have any questions
Why does Comfort Systems Inc. do this, it is simple ; We not only work here, We Live Here.
